Ever since its rocky release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been plagued with problem after problem. One of which is the large number of players using the various number of glitches present in the game. The news of the glitches spread like wildfire only days after the game launched. However, the development team at InfinityWard has issued a warning to players saying that anyone caught cheating will be banned from playing, removed from the leaderboards, and made sure that they can never rank on the leaderboards again.
Robert Bowling, creative strategist at InfinityWard, reports via twitter that some 1600+ bans have been issued and for players to continue reporting anyone they see cheating as it will not be tolerated. Bowling also states in his tweet that a patch is in the works but gives no hint at a release date.
