Grand Bazaar
Another urban map taking place in Tehran. In week two of the combat in Tehran, U.S. and Russian forces continue to fight over control of the city. The map features a crumbling city and mirrored environments for U.S. and Russian sides of the map. Expect narrow streets and high buildings

Caspian Border
The Caspian Border takes place in the Iranian side of the Turkmenistan border. The map is expected to feature in several Battlefield 3 trailers. The map is vehicle intense and features a border crossing as if it were about to pull apart and break in two both figuratively and literally. This is a very large map and it is necessary to travel with vehicles in order to get from one base to another.

Seine Crossing
The Seine Crossing splits Paris in two by the Seine River. This is another urban map featuring narrow alley ways and buildings where the first two floors may be occupied. The final stage of the rush mode consists of an M-Com station inside of a bank. The bank will be the largest indoor environment in any Battlefield series.

Noshahr Canals
Located in a major industrial port featuring all types of terrain in which infantry, land and water vehicles are equally important. Attackers in Rush will begin on an aircraft carrier and make their way to an urban industrial environment. Combat will span from a dry dock, to a train yard followed by an airport.

Kharg Island
Amphibious attacks will play a major roll for Kharg Island. The map features an industrial island with heavily fortified beach heads.

Easter Egg
DICE has announced that one of the multiplayer maps a sand castle will appear. This is a continuation of the easter egg which has been present in many Battlefield maps throughout the franchise’s history.
