Confirmation of rumors regarding a 2 disc Battlefield 3 case for the XBOX 360 has been confirmed in the form of a photo. Images surfaced showing 2 slots inside of the DVD style case. It is likely multiplayer and single player modes will be kept separate for installation. This case will mark the first ever First Person Shooter to make it unto a multidisc set for console gaming.
The one benefit of a multidisc set is that XBOX360 users may be able to lend their single player copy out to their friend while the original owners can shoot up the multiplayer after they’re done with the single player disc.
We will likely see the PlayStation 3 version on a single high capacity Blu-ray Disc which holds a far greater amount of data than your standard DVD.
