A Space Shooter for 2 Bucks looks like something taken out of your TI-83 Calculator or possibly from your local arcade with a storyline written into it.
The game consists of two zones, each with five stages and three boss stages. On the map, you are able to choose the stage you want to start at. Your ship is made of two huge revolvers that are always pointing in one direction, as this is a scrolling shoot’em up style game. Since your ship is only facing one direction, you have the ability to travel freely all over the screen to kill your enemies who drop power ups and credits which are usable in the shop. The shop allows you to upgrade the ship with weapons, shields and bombs that eventually expire.
The game has 4 difficulty levels, of which you can breeze through the first few within 2-4 hours. As you progress through the skill levels, they become exponentially more challenging. Although this game may not be the most impressive, for they money you really can’t go wrong. The game runs for $1.99 in the PlayStation Network Store and PlayStation Plus members are currently able to download this game for free.
